More shopping antics

Around Christmastime, right before we were to leave, I needed to go to our local "store" (it's like a RiteAid and Walmart mixed together... they have a good selection of certain things but it's definitely no Target. :) ).  Spencer found some fun Christmas decorations at one end that all moved, twinkled lights or dropped snow inside a globe.  And which one do you think Spencer found? Of course, the train one.  And can you please see what he did with it? He meticulously lined up bags of candy, pushing them with the train to line up and not rushing through the steps at all.  He also had it in order from how they were up on the shelves. I hope this "need for order" stays around for a long time.

This next video is of the time we went to see the christmas decorations and instead of pushing it over and over again to hear the repetition, he took it to a new level.

I love that you have the patience to not only let him do that but to take pictures and videos of him in action. I think I need to learn from this and slow down more often to see the world through my kids eyes. And also...Can Brenna please marry him??? He is the cutest thing ever!

There have been so many controversy by secret shopping experts to reduce fashionable around it as an effective device for researching the market.

Thanks Randi! It is fun to watch him. I get a kick out of noticing all the little things he does, and I don't know why. I wonder if having him be considered "special needs" and being so behind in areas of his development has made me sort of appreciate every little step. (Did that sound snooty? It wasn't meant to be.) Don't get me wrong though. I'm not always that way. I get frustrated and impatient if I'm in a hurry. Sometimes I just don't go shopping if I have to take him with me because I don't have patience. But if Brian is there he or I can just focus on letting him wander and explore. One of his favorite things used to be going to the candle section and taking one of each color and lining it up like a rainbow. He did that every time for weeks. Silly kid. But thank you for appreciating that about me. I never thought about it that way so it was nice to hear. And yes, can we arrange a marriage at this young of ages? I think so!
