LABOR DAY

What did you do for Labor Day? Well, Spencer spent an hour and a half in the jacuzzi...Fell asleep the minute we got in. He was thinkin, "Man, I remember this!" He slept for a 1/2 an hour and then the other hour, he had the best time floating on his back (we only had one hand under him), practicing his surfing on the boogie board and then exercising his routine for the kicking/splashing/getting-REALLY-excited-so-I-flap-my-arms-Olympic event. I even did a few 'bobs.' This kid was so mad when we got him out of the water. And he was so shriveled. He didn't care. He so misses being pregnant...much more than I do. :)

The Baby Blessing

Okay, so I know it was July 27 when we had the baby blessing in california but I thought it would be fun for you guys to see these pictures. And DON'T just get overwhelmed thinking that there are just too many "People" pictures. I had so much fun looking at all the people in the pictures...but not just the Main Focus people. Look at the people around them. Making faces and carrying on...not realizing the camera is catching them. These pictures were taken very quickly...click, click, click with the photographer (Mrs. Beth Lamb) taking them super quickly. So you can see how fast people were changing their poses. I wish I could have posted all of them so you could see Nanette smiling whole time...even when everyone else was relaxed and doing other stuff...Nan just kept the same pose. But Max is my favorite. He's "Where's Waldo". Try and find him in the pictures. Anyway, have fun. Thanks Beth! You just can't retire, can you? :)

After the Blessing

After the Baby Blessing, we all went to hang out for lunch at my mom and dad's house. They were an immense help at providing food for the gathering and doing such a great job at setting it up. I'm sorry I got so sidetracked and wasn't very much help setting it up. I love my family! Okay, so I caught my mom playing with her grandchildren out in the backyard and thought it was the cutest thing. There are two pictures in a row of almost exactly the same thing. There's a reason for it. Look at Ruby in the second picture! Is she excited? Or scared? heehee. I love my nieces and nephews too! They melt me. :)
