Well, I took a 10 day trip to California while Brian and the girls have been gone. I realized I don't blog when I'm away. I don't know why. I just get sucked into the laziness of vacation PLUS I was super busy while I was out there. So, I guess when I wasn't busy, I was really lazy.
ANYWAY! I flew back into Sierra Vista last night fully expecting to have about 4 days before Brian came home. I've been really missing him (it's been about 5 weeks since we've seen each other) this recent trip. I'm usually really good when he's away, just biding my time til he gets home. But this time was different.
Ya, we talked on the phone, emailed and chatted (and had good intentions of video chat, but never did), it really isn't the best form of communication. Thus, I was missing him a lot. I was missing being able to just sit and watch a movie with him, or go on a date and hold his hand, or just tell him my day and have him give his feedback...basically I missed my best friend.
THEN! Lo and behold, I'm getting off my flight and walking to baggage claim when guess who pops out from behind the pillar? BRIAN!!!! He had surprised me and flown in from Korea about 3 hours before Spencer and me. I almost started crying. He said I had the biggest look of shock on my face, almost like I was mad. Nope. I really thought I WAS going mad though...and seeing things. There he was! It was like relief flooded over me. I can't even explain how happy I was.
I just love him.
So, now we are hanging out at home, going out to breakfast, planning date nights, and just plain ol' catching up.
I'm in heaven.

You have such a wonderful husband! I am glad that you will have time together to relax and enjoy each other before you head off to Utah. Welcome Home Brian!
I thought that only happened in the movies. ;) Smart thinking Brian and great surprise. BTW my word verification word is "cotch" -seriously??
