SAMMY DAY

So, if you read my previous post, you'll know that my brother, Sam took Xoe & Xanthe after their party to have a sleepover with his daughter Ainsley. I was stoked when I got a text in the morning that said something to the effect of, "Breakfast. Krispy Kreme." But when I showed up and asked where we were going, he replied, "MF dude...all the way..." Of course, I knew that code right away for "MAGELBY'S FRESH, BABY!" (You have to yell it in the highest Mickey Mouse voice, as loud as can be.)

Holy cow. Have any of you ever eaten at Magleby's Fresh? Wow. It's an experience. All I can say is...ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT FRENCH TOAST w/ Butter Syrup. Add the Berries and Real Cream and you've got PURE HEAVEN. No joke. And their Breakfast Burritos are pretty amazing too. Try it. You know you'll like it.

I forgot my camera, so these are courtesy of Sam's camera phone.

Desperate Times call for Desperate Measures. Can you tell I REALLY wanted to enjoy my breakfast? And I'm not even embarrassed to say that I for sure brought the DVD player in for Spencer to watch, rather than chasing him around the store with maybe getting a half bite in. It worked. And don't think you all won't consider it one time or another, even if you don't work up the nerve to do it.

And then it was Karaoke Time...we headed over to Aunt Nicole's house and hooked up X&X's new game. Sam was the first to try it out. Ya, baby! He sang a couple of songs, and warmed up the mic for the girls. Xanthe & Xoe sang a couple (very proud of them) and Ainsley even belted out Miley Cyrus's "Climb". She rocked.

Of course, the girls got their craft on again with Nicole and then we got in another great dinner at Sammy's before we all split up for a couple of days. Glad to know we have Sam for awhile. It was pretty cool hanging out with him. Hopefully we get some more time in next week!

So how many WW points was that breakfast! Joking. I would have eaten so much french toast that you would have to roll me out of that place. I LOVE french toast. My only question is where was Nicki through all of this?

I love me some MF. Your girls are adorable. I'm so happy their day was fabulous.
BTW, I have the recipe for that amazing MF syrup.
