The North Sea

The first day we were there, Brian, Brittany and I decided we wanted to go exploring while the kids enjoyed the campsite with Portia overseeing them.  Brian had researched a few places to go that we hadn't been to before so this day we decided to take a trip to the North Sea and a small town called Shiedam (more on that later).

It was really cold by the time we got here.  We came the sea after Shiedam, but it's a faster post so I thought I'd post first.  The wind was blowing super strong and as I mentioned in my previous post, it was a little chilly.  It was still amazing to put our feet in the North Sea water and collect some sand from that area.  I can now say I have touched the North Sea. :)

Brittany took some great pics, didn't she?

More windmills.  We are in Holland, after all!
