DAY 2: Enjoying the Paris Experience

Part of the Paris experience is definitely:

Eating at a Sidewalk Cafe. We found one right down the street from the Notre Dame.

...and Ordering Crepes (the girls fell in love with the chocolate/banana one)

...and Buying Souvenirs...

Xanthe picked out a beret...

...Xoe picked out a fancy scarf (they're really into scarves these days)...

We had given them each 20 Euros for their trip to buy souvenirs with. It's been good because they've really thought hard about their purchases. They've bought a lot of postcards (mostly because they're cheap) and have even done price comparisons at each shop so they get the best deal. We did this in New York and it worked really well. They have their own wallets and everything.

Spencer was just a cute little boy the whole time. He has been so great this whole trip. What an amazing kid.

The girls are so grown up. Most kids would have chosen to buy toys but they chose fashion. I love it.

That is a great way to teach budgeting and the value of money! I think I will go to you when I need to teach Ruby some life lessons.
